- 1/2 lb of chuanxiong

- 1/2 lb of safflower

- 1/2 lb of salvia root

- 1/2 lb of scute

- 1/2 lb of licorice root

- 1/2 lb of cinnamon bark

- 1/2 lb of dried bamboo shoots

- 1/2 lb of radishes

4. Bring the pot to a boil over medium heat. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and let the soup simmer for at least 4 hours, or until the bones are tender.

5. Skim any foam or impurities that rise to the surface of the soup during cooking.

6. After 4 hours, add the rock sugar and honey to the soup. Continue to simmer for another 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
